MAHS (Moss and Height Spring wood) is a wood that Bill Hogarth worked until his death in 1999, so it’s very close to our hearts.
If you’d like to come along and help us in the wood one day (it’d be great to see you – everyone’s welcome!), below are the scheduled work/fun days for this year (so far).
Come in boots or wellies and bring snacks and lunch (and gloves if you feel you need them) – and be ready to get stuck in!
Usual times for work/fun days are 9.30 – 16.30.

Directions: Go down the side road by the White Hart Inn at Bouth, Cumbria, keep left at the junction signposted Hay Bridge go round a couple of corners till you see a gate on the left with a byway sign next to it. This is the entrance to MAHS. We usually meet by the memorial bench about 400m up the byway into the wood.
